At NCake, we craft every cake with premium ingredients, care, and creativity. Based in Trout Lake and White Salmon, WA, and serving the Columbia River Gorge, we treat our cakes as edible works of art. This policy outlines how to order, receive, and care for our products.

1. How to Place an Order
• Orders can be placed via our website, by phone, or by email
• Phone (message) or email consultations are available free of charge by appointment.
• We do not accept walk-ins. All communication must be scheduled in advance.

2. Custom Cake Orders
• All of our cakes are made fresh to order from scratch. We never freeze our cakes.
• We do not store ready-made cakes — every item is created specifically for each client.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe at checkout on our website.
• We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled directly by Stripe on their secure platform.
• Stripe uses advanced encryption and fraud prevention tools to ensure your payment is safe.
• If ordering by phone or email, we will send instructions for advance payment once your order is confirmed.
• There is no minimum purchase requirement.

3. Pickup & Delivery
We provide flexible pickup and delivery options within the Columbia River Gorge area.

• Pickup Locations:

• Delivery:
‣ Delivery is available throughout the region.
‣ Fees are calculated at checkout and vary based on distance, order total, and availability.
‣ Free delivery may apply to qualifying orders and will be automatically reflected at checkout.

4. Design & Customization
• Each NCake creation is handmade with an emphasis on detail and artistry.
• You are welcome to share design inspiration photos, but exact replication cannot be guaranteed.
• Final decisions regarding design, size, or flavors must be confirmed at least 5 days before your event.

5. Storage & Handling
• Our cakes must be stored in the refrigerator until serving.
• Please follow safe refrigeration practices to maintain the quality and structure of your cake.
• We are not responsible for any damage after pickup or delivery due to improper handling or storage.

6. Packaging
Every NCake product is thoughtfully packaged in a premium presentation box, often adorned with ribbons and decorative touches. We believe a cake should not only taste amazing — it should be a visual delight, too.

7. Cancellation & Changes
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to respect both your needs and the handcrafted nature of our work.
• Free cancellation is available within 24 hours of placing your order.
• Cancellations are fully refundable when made at least 5 full days before the pickup/delivery date.
• No cancellations or refunds will be accepted within 5 days of your event.
• Order changes (flavor, size, design) may be accepted up to 5 days in advance, subject to availability.

8. Wedding Cake Orders
• Wedding cakes require advanced planning and preparation.
• For all wedding orders, no cancellations are accepted within 14 days of the scheduled event date.
• Advance payments for wedding cakes are non-refundable.

9. Final Notes
• NCake reserves the right to decline orders based on scheduling, complexity, or delivery limitations.
